The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.
The 2015 SEMA Show drew more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 2,500 newly introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more…
Note: The SEMA Show is a trade-only event and not open to the general public.
My company gains access as a media company servicing existing exhibitors at the show. My goal would end up being a strategic swag supplier for a small handful of annual vendors to this show. I saw a few trends with consistency this year: Roof-top tents for trucks and not nearly enough hot models with full size posters.
Roof-top tents sort of look cool from a distance but, I have enough angst crawling out of my tent at ground level to take a leak in the middle of the night. I cannot even imagine having to climb down a sketchy aluminum ladder. In regards to the hot chicks….the booths that usually hired that entertainment were the wheel and tire guys. As a result, there were NO LINES waiting to hang out in their booth space. I suspect as the economy gets stronger, they better be BACK!
