Cruisin’ for a Cure Car Show

The Cruisin’ for a Cure car show  was started in 2000 by Debbie Baker whose husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Cruisin’ for a Cure is the world’s largest one-day charity car show with over 3,500 vehicles on display and over 200 vendors and exhibitors. They get to cruise through the OC Fair & Event Center for 1.5 miles and/or park and just display their vehicles. I was only there for a couple of hours and it was amazing how many people come out for this.

What I really enjoyed was how the custom hotrod exhibitors would/could cruise the entire fairgrounds allowing you to actually hear the amazing engines roar to match their paint and chrome. I had brought a hand-held microphone to capture those sounds and you can see a preview in this video.
