It is really an amazing experience to visit your local Veterans Memorial on Memorial Day. Even if you do not have a Veteran in your family, do yourself a favor and take your family out some Memorial Day. Our US of A is far from perfect but many people have given their lives trying to make it better for you and me.

It was such an honor when an elderly Korean woman asked me for some help to find her husband of 40 years gravestone as her eyes are failing…we had a nice chat and my tears were held back as I felt as I had been invited to the dinner table with long lost friends. Happy Memorial Day to all my Navy buddies (male and female) and all of those that have served. Freedom is not free.
